I’m James Ebert and I’m running for Weber County Commission Seat A
For more than 30 years, James Ebert has dedicated his life to service, leadership, and the people of Weber County. He and his wife, Steffani, have lived in Farr West for 27 years, raising five children and now enjoying three grandchildren.
James spent 23 years with the Riverdale Police Department, rising from patrol officer to administrative lieutenant. His law enforcement career gave him firsthand insight into the challenges facing local families and communities.
A graduate of Weber State University, James later served as a Weber County Commissioner, where he focused on economic growth, infrastructure, and responsible use of taxpayer dollars. He’s known for bringing people together and finding practical, long-term solutions.
He has also worked as an economic development consultant for Morgan County and currently serves as Executive Director of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Weber-Davis, supporting youth and strengthening community connections.
James is running for office to address growth, rising costs, and infrastructure needs with thoughtful, balanced leadership. He is committed to supporting public safety, easing the burden on taxpayers, and making decisions based on what’s best for Weber County residents.
